Terms of Use

Last updated November 6, 2026.

These terms describe how you may use Nat20 Roller, a set of free browser-based dice tools at nat20roller.com. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the tools.

The tools

Nat20 Roller provides free dice rolling and related calculators for tabletop play, including a DnD dice roller, a d20 roller, dedicated pages for a d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 and d100, a stat roller and a dice probability calculator.

You may use the tools for personal play, for running a game at a table or online, and for other lawful, non-commercial referencing of the public pages. You may not scrape the site in a way that harms its availability, wrap the tools in ads that hide their source or present the site as an official Dungeons & Dragons product.

No accounts and no stored rolls on our side

The tools do not require an account. When a page keeps roll history or saved rolls, that data stays in your own browser on that device. The privacy page explains this in more detail, and the about page explains how rolls are generated.

What we do not promise

The tools are provided as is, free of charge. We work to keep rolls fair and the pages available, but we do not warrant that the site will always be online, free of bugs or fit for a particular purpose. A roll result is generated in your browser; we cannot reconstruct a past roll that lived only on your device.

Explanations of fifth edition rules are meant to help you use the tools. They are not legal advice, not official rulings and not a substitute for the books your table has agreed to use. The attribution page credits the System Reference Document we draw on.

Independence and trademarks

Nat20 Roller is an independent fan tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast. Dungeons & Dragons and related names belong to their owners. We use them only to describe the rules the tools support. Do not use the Nat20 Roller name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse another product without permission.

Affiliate links

There are no paid product picks on the site today. If that changes, the affiliate disclosure will describe how those links are marked.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site changes. The date at the top of this page is the latest revision. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
